Lutron’s HomeWorks QSX is the latest version of Lutron’s flagship home lighting control system and is designed to control the lighting in an entire home by replacing multiple dimmers and switches with simple keypads.
Each lighting circuit in the home is individually controlled by the Lutron dimmers and are then set to exactly meet your requirements day or night. The system also helps save energy by optimising lighting usage.
Whole areas of the home can be controlled together on a single button press, so for example as you come in at night, a range of lights come on and when you leave an all off button turns out all the lights, leaving a randomly selected pattern of lights to come on and off to make the home look occupied.
Rooms like kitchens and diners can be transformed from brightly lit active spaces to a calming and peaceful dining area with a single button.
Fan and Lighting Technology
In practical areas like bathrooms and toilets we can control lights & fans automatically when you walk in, with light levels adjusted automatically depending on the time of day. Lutron’s system can also integrate with HVAC systems for complete home automation.
HomeWorks also controls the natural light in your home though Lutron’s blinds and curtains.
Each item is controlled in exactly the same manner as the electric lights using the same buttons, completing the entire light management process
Simple Integration
HomeWorks can be installed as a stand alone system in its own right or can be fully integrated into a smart home control system providing seamless control with every other system in the home .
All the equipment for this is hidden away, so all you see is an elegant keypad individually engraved to meet your requirements.
For retrofit situations we use Lutron wireless dimmers & keypads which integrate seamlessly into the HomeWorks system
LED Technology
HomeWorks is capable of controlling loads of all types from the latest LED fittings to LED strip. The advanced technology used in the system ensures smooth and reliable dimming for LED lighting.
Coloured LED strip is controlled using the DMX protocol enabling the full spectrum of colours to be created on a single command. For mare advanced installations HomeWorks supports DALI lighting control which enables each downlight or LED strip to be individually addressed providing maximum flexibility and control.
